NCAA CWS Super Regionals 2025

OU will be playing in the Chapel Hill Regional along with UNC (Jordan Hudson lol), Holy Cross, & Nebraska.

OSU will be playing in the Athens Regional against UGA, Duke, & Binghamton.

As expected, NDSU will play in the Fayetteville Regional against the Razorbacks, Creighton, & Kansas.

Murray State beats Duke to be the next 4 seed at the CWS.  Coach talking after the game seems to be a strong Christian man.

That was a great game and a great post game interview.  So happy to see the Racers beat Dook at home.  

For those that didn't see the game, Murray State appeared to have won when a Duke baserunner was called out for sliding outside of the basepath in an attempt to break up a double play.  That was the third out and ended the game.  Upon further review, the baserunner was called safe.  Murray State had to untangle themselves from the dog pile, gather their equipment and get back on the field.  The Racers gathered themselves and got the next batter out on an unassisted out at first.

Through my biased eyes, I thought the Duke runner should have been out.  His left leg was pointed directly at the 2nd baseman fielding on the right side of the base while his knee was in line to touch the bag.  It was borderline and the ESPN broadcasters seemed to think he should be safe.

The runner did not go out of his way to get in the fielder's way of making the play.  The Duke baserunner was sliding on top of the bag and the fielder did not attempt to avoid the obvious attempt to break up a double play while being within the 3-foot width of the basepath.  The umpires got that play correct and fortunately Murray State was able to maintain their composure for another out to seal the deal.  #LiveToPlayAnotherDay

I was only for Dook so that ORU could remain the last #4 seed to make the CWS.  Otherwise, I was rooting for MSU.
