@theeagleman5, stay safe and out of the streets tonight.  Philly at night is no place for a 70 year old to be these days!  Also, protect your couches - no need to burn them! 🤣

Eagles parading on Broad Street today in front of over 1 million loyal Birds fans.....guessing the last Cowboys' parade was when Grip was in High School...and Otis was probably still single........ image.jpeg.73eb85e42386964ec0348a909547dfa4.jpeg

Nope. It was during my glory days at ORU (when ORU was in the pre-dark ages 🥲).

Congrats on the parade and SB win #....2? 🤣 I'm happy for Hurts! But seriously, here's to the E-L-G-S-E-S!

Otis was definitely still single 29 years ago.  I hadn't even met my wife yet.  Not expecting my marital status or the Cowboys' Lombardi trophy count to change for the remainder of my lifetime.

Cowboys have talent...just need a better coach and more talent around Dak especially the O Line.....Eagles have best O Line and D Line combo in the NFL which makes all the difference....would agree that Jalen Hurts is NOT a top 5 QB but he's good enough with all that talent around him....doesn't hurt to have the #1 defense although some guys are going to leave in FA.....can't afford to keep all of them in this NFL Cap world....🤑

Getting ready for the 2025 season but had to watch Super Bowl 59 just one more time before getting things underway with pre-season....it was even more enjoyable watching the Eagles crush Kansas City knowing the outcome.....I love it so!!!!   GO BIRDS!!!

Yeah it is good to have football back after a long summer of baseball.  How do you think the Eagles will do this year, Eagleman?  It made be hard to repeat but they should be a top 5 team, barring a bunch of injuries to key players.

Jerry is doing his usual, running off star players (Micah Parsons).  So look for the Cowboys to be up and down.  If Prescott is healthy, then maybe they can get to the playoffs as a wildcard.

Yeah here we are just a week from the opening game already......should be a fun season, Keenan.....NFL teams change a lot of personnel from year to year and the Eagles are no exception especially on the defensive side of the ball...4-5 key starters gone from last season and LB Nakobi Dean still out with the knee injury he suffered in January. Expecting the Birds to be pretty good but of course they will have the defending champion bullseye on their backs and the schedule is very difficult....but it is what it is....first month is Dallas, KC, LARams and TB....no pushovers.....opener in Philly vs. the Cowboys should be fun.....Dallas has Dak back and will bring their A game for sure.....problem is will Jerry and Micah Parsons reach a contract agreement so he can play?? TheEagleman would be very surprised if #11 is not on the field next Thursday Night...he isn't going to forfeit over $1 mill for missing a game.....just can't see it......and Prescott always plays well vs. the Eagles......Cowboys should be back to double digit wins this season and be fighting with the Eagles and Commanders for the NFC East title....reminder that no NFC East team has been a repeat champion in over 2 decades.....thats a daunting fact....so Philly has it's work cut out.....TheEagleman is ready for kickoff!!! 😎

Micah Parsons to Green Bay....wow!!!  not sure the cost yet but must be multiple high draft picks....probably not a bad deal for the future for Dallas....but doesn't help them in 2025....frankly, Parsons a great player but a pain in the A$$ and not a high character guy.....TheEagleman applauds this move if they got several high draft picks....GB not likely to be in the top half of the first round, though......Image result for jerry jones images

I'm having Reggie White leaving the Eagles for Green Bay vibes.  Once again, an NFC East team eschews talent and big contract and the Packers are fine with it.  Could be more Lombardy trophies coming to Title Town.

I have been ambivalent on Parsons for the last couple of years but if Jerry thinks this trade is good for the team, I am convinced it isn't.  My beloved Cowboys are cursed to have such a wretched Owner/GM/Buffoon.

It was hard to see Parsons go but since Jerry was not going to pay him so basically all he could do was trade him.  They got a solid piece in 3-time pro bowler Kenny Clark, but he is no Parsons.  The Cowboys also got two first round draft picks, and we just have to hope that at least one of them hits.

As a Cowboys fan it is disappointing because they made off-season moves in the right direction, landing the wide receiver from Pittsburgh (George Pickens.).  It is once again one step forward and two steps back.

JJ is tough to take year in and year out. But he had no reason to lie when he said he made close to a $200M offer to Parsons. Sounds like Parson's agent blew it to me.

REALLY hate to lose Micah, but two first-rounders isn't nothing. Time will tell...I think a lot will be forgotten when the Cowboys smoke the Eagles next week. 😆

Honestly, Clark is on the downside and those 2 1st round picks will not be very high...likely 20th or later....just not good value for a top 5 defensive player but probably not many teams could pay Parsons almost $200M. Jones had little choice....not gonna miss seeing that guy twice a season but we do play GB this in Nov....😬
