eagle88 Posted January 27 Posted January 27 In honor of Eagleman and the City of Brotherly Love I truly wish the Eagles a close 2nd place. It really should be a great superbowl with 2 really good teams. My wife has been a lifelong Chiefs fan as she was born in KC and I have been a fan for nearly 30 years! A 3 peat would be amazing!! 2
theeagleman5 Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Chiefs are good but Andy Reid is a dunce....admit the man is headed to the HOF but he will have the lowest coaching IQ in the Hall and to mention his name with the likes of Halas, Shula, Belichek and Knoll is just head scratching....the man has a lot of wins and 3 rings but owes them to McNabb, DC Jim Johnson, Mahomes and DC Spagnulo....Andy still can't manage the clock or know when to call TOs.....sorry for the negative take but this is from a bitter Eagles fan who feels the team should have won at least one or two Super Bowls from 2000 thru 2012...but we didn't because of Andy Reid....stubborn coach....never got McNabb the weapons he needed....refused to run the football with RBs like Westbrook, Staley and Burkhalter....i detest the man....and I won't get into his personal life but let me remind all of you that he was back to work the day after his son's funeral despite a tragic death.....You can have Andy Reid and his Bundlerooskidoo.......he's detestable.....Mahomes may win him a 4th ring but this is one guy hoping that the Chiefs don't get to hoist another trophy.....again, sorry for this but just telling it like it is....Andy seems to have mellowed over the years and we all make mistakes but sorry.....can't root for that guy......plus i know stuff you don't know......

Sounds like a post I'd write, just not about Andy Reid.

Sometimes it's not what you know, but the people you surround yourself with. Andy is smart enough to know that he's not smart enough. #IYKYK 1
Keenan Henderson Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Tickets are on sale for about $5,000 to the Superbowl. Eagleman can you spring for about 20 tickets, so the Sports Forum can go? Thanks, buddy. 1
theeagleman5 Posted January 27 Posted January 27 TheEagleman will be happy to watch the SB at home with my own food and adult beverages....unless my wife drags me somewhere....i just need to concentrate on the game....also just to add to what i said above....didn't mean to say that Andy Reid is not a good guy....i am sure he is and his players like him....and I will agree that he has mellowed/improved since moving to KC....Philly Fans are a lot tougher than the laid back Chiefs fans and it's probably a better place for a guy like Reid.....he may never have listened to his players in Phila but guessing he has learned from that and Mahomes/Kelce/Jones do have input.....Chiefs are a very good team and heck, Mahomes might be a top 5 QB of all time....he's a winner....and I give Andy credit for trading up to draft him....he saw something in #15....I just don't like Reid because of what happened here and want to see the Eagles beat him and deny a threepeat..... PS....Yeah move the to FREE FOR ALL
titansforever Posted February 4 Posted February 4 I'm rooting for the Eagles! I hope they cream the Chiefs! 1
Keenan Henderson Posted February 5 Posted February 5 How does Philly win on Sunday? It is a tall task against a very good/dynasty type team in KC. 1. They have to run the ball with SB and keep the ball out of Mahomes hands. 2. When Mahomes has the ball, make sure and put plenty of pressure on him. Any other ideas?

theeagleman5 Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Eagles fans understand that most people dont like us or our team but honestly we don't care....We love our team and our city despite all the warts and past disappointments....TheEagleman could write a book here about his 65 yrs of being a Birds' fan and lots of tough times over the years especially in the 20th Century....my earliest memories are listening to the 1960 NFL Championship game on my transistor radio in the old family rowhome in North Philly....game was blacked out that day so no TV but i do remember the victory over Lombardi's GB Packers.....Super Bowl losses in 1980 vs. the Raiders and 2004 vs. the Patriots.....finally broke thru in 2017 beating Brady and NE and then two years ago in 2022 losing a hearbreaker to Mahomes and the Chiefs.....I am quietly confident that the Eagles will get revenge today in what should be a close entertaining game....we need Barkley to run and control the clock and our D to contain Mahomes.....can't expect to completely stop the magic man as he will have his moments but can't really let them score more than about 24....I do think the Eagles will get 30+....the boys are ready for this game and focused...both teams fairly healthy and will probably be a game that causes TheEagleman a lot of nervous moments....in the end i am going with 33-24 Eagles over KC and no 3peat....if i am wrong then i tip my cap to Andy Reid and the Chiefs....but as of now I am looking forward to a celebration of SB win #2 for Philadelphia....GO BIRDS!!! 1 1

Keenan Henderson Posted February 10 Posted February 10 Congrats to the Eagles and a near perfect win in Super Bowl 59. They came out with that fire in their belly and proved that they are the best team in football. Eagleman this is your night! 1
