Old Titan
OK, this one is worth noting: physically developed man-child from Oklahoma Christian School, MVP of the 3A state tournament. Could be a game-changer, even as a freshman. Think Caleb Green... 4

Old Titan
A local high school coach told me today that Luke is definitely talented enough to play at ORU or TU, but is a bit of a "tweener" for P5 schools. He also wondered why it took ORU till now to offer him...

In a rebuilding effort, he probably fits in nicely. He will be a project to get him to the D-1 level, but he does look like he could contribute "out of the box" - not unlike Josh Jones. Popular Post Eaglefan 21
seems like a really great pick up. 3 star forward who averaged double digit rebounds. Read that he broke Blake Griffins career record for points and rebounds at OCS. Welcome to ORU! 2
Keenan Henderson
Good news as we head into Easter! Luke brings defense and rebounding that ORU desperately needs.

eagle88
Luke looks likes a kid that will fit in at ORU and play hard for HCRS. Very excited about this pick up. Now that the cabinet has been emptied really looking forward to filling it with good players!

Keenan Henderson
Luke looks like a talented 4 man that can at times hit a 3. There should be some openings for him next year, with all the guys graduating or transferring. Is he ready to step in and help as a freshmen or does he need a few years to adjust. That is always the question with freshmen who have potential but the opportunity to play right away is there for him.

We should expect him to contribute next year, but he won't be at the level that Josh Jones was by starting on the first game. Playing Class 3A ball is different than D-1 collegiate ball.
Dr. Cornelius
Not sure how Oklahoma 3A compares to TAPPS 5A (Which Jones played in at St. Michael’s in Austin) but I agree the step up for big men to D1 is drastic and usually requires some time.
