Eaglefan 21
Verbal commits shows that we offered a Scholarship yesterday to Lajae. He is listed as shooting guard. Averages 14 points, 8 rebounds and shoots 39% from 3 point range. He played his freshman year at Tartelton State before transferring to Barton Community college in Kansas. He is originally from Jacksonville, Florida. Love that he is a big guard, gets boards, and shoots the three ball. Holds offers as well from Arkansas State and Bethune Cookman. https://kjccc.prestosports.com/sports/mbkb/2023-24/players/lajaejoneszot5?view=gamelog&pos=sh https://tarletonsports.com/sports/mens-basketball/roster/lajae-jones/10318 https://www.verbalcommits.com/players/lajae-jones -
Keenan Henderson
He is listed in the top 70 in the Juco player rankings. Looks like a good fit at the small forward position to help replace Kareem Thompson next year. I like the 8 rebounds a game because the Eagles can always use some more rebounding. Looks like a very nice solid player. Doesn't let the game speed him up and good handles and passing ability. Those are solid type of guys that can help teams win.
Keenan Henderson
He signed with St. Bonies and rose to #7 in the Juco rankings. This is the 3rd Juco player ORU missed out on. Remember at the end of the season, the coaches were asked about recuriting and they said we are hitting the juco ranks pretty hard.

Both can be true - coaches can go all in and “hit the juco ranks pretty hard” - and ORU still “missed out on.” At the end of the day it’s the student/player’s decision.
