tmh8286
I was thinking that too, Blue, but after complaining in another thread about people on other boards posting, "We beat ORU , ORU beat Kansas, yada, yada ,yada . . .", I didn't think I'd better post that. Glad somebody else did !
Mike Minyard
...and don't forget that Kansas beat Florida. So the Liberty game basically just locks up that argument in our favor. Not to mention that the ORU-Liberty game was on a neutral court.
tmh8286
VMI runs and throws up 3 points. They press every possession, even after missed shots. That type of score is normal for them. I came across a couple articles about the VMI's "sprint and strike" offense: VMI coach shares style, heart ailment with Lions past by Kyle Whelliston, and Loot and Shoot by Bill Trocchi It's all true - 100 shots per game, 50 treys per game, 30 forced TO's per game. Platoon substitutions every two minutes. Trap all over the court. It's enough to make me weak in the knees just thinking about it!
