Eaglefan 21
So he has two years of eligibility left? I assumed he was coming in to play the 2 guard but all of the searches I have done on him label him a PG.

Keenan Henderson
It looks like ORU traded Joy for Jalen Miller. That is how college basketball is these days, tougher than NBA free agency. I like the fact that he has some experience in the Big Ten but is still a junior. He should be a good backup for McBride or a possible starter if Jalen can improve his shooting stats. Miller did play in an NCAA tournament game his freshman year versus Notre Dame.

Wasn't Kevin Durant from Washington, DC and recruited by Coach Springmann??? Could there be a connection??

ORU82
Oh yes, Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. This guy should know how to play basketball if his prep work was in D.C.
Keenan Henderson
Jalen should be more of a glue guy type of player: play tough defense, set up his teammates and make the smart decision with the ball. He will need to do the dirty work to help ORU win in 23-24. Jalen may get some open looks and will need to knock them down, as some teams most likely will leave him open to cover Weaver, McBride and Trey. It will be interesting to see who else the Eagles get out of the portal.
Old Titan
This brief article describes Miller as "a defensive specialist". Would ANYONE under Paul Mills have been described that way? LOL 3
ORUTerry
Wonder if we will see Miller and Williams on the court at the same time. If so, will Summit guards get a shot off - or get the ball past half court? J/K It would certainly be a much different approach than we’ve seen in a while.

LOL I hope this isn't one of the cases where "defensive specialist" is used to describe a guy who absolutely can't score... at all. 1
