Popular Post ORUTerry Posted December 28, 2022 Popular Post Share Posted December 28, 2022 I am asking our message board community to join me in prayer for one of our longest (and most prolific/wittiest/knowledgeable) members - Rhett Brooks (aka Old Titan). Rhett is scheduled to undergo open heart surgery Thursday morning. We all share a love for ORU basketball, but as Believers we also recognize and have realized God’s intervention in our lives through the discipline of prayer. We also surround him and protect him with our love and faith and a hedge of prayer and give the ministering angels charge over him to keep him in all of his ways. We speak life and health into his body, command the sickness and disease to be gone and command his body to be healed in Jesus Name. Lord we ask that you guide and direct his health care providers and give them wisdom, knowledge and understanding on how to treat Rhett and we pray for peace not only for Rhett but also his family and all who are involved. By your stripes Lord Jesus, Rhett is healed. Other doctors will say, "How did you guys do such an AMAZING job?" I pray for all issues to be solved through this surgery, and for your recovery to be quicker than the doctors predicted. I know God will be with you in the OR--as He has been with you every day of your life. He will give you the healing you need so that you can get yourself back to Mabee Center for the rest of this glorious season! And I join theeagleman in imploring our Golden Eagles to notch some big wins this week--especially on Thursday!
