TULSA, Okla. ? The Oral Roberts University volleyball team has completed its 2006 roster with the addition of junior transfer Daniela Brazolino, ORU head coach Sheera Sirola has announced. She will have two seasons of eligibility remaining in a Golden Eagle uniform.

"Daniela is a great addition to our team as both an outside hitter and a passer," Sirola said. "She jumps extremely well and will give us more options on both sides of the net."

A native of Belo Horizonte, Brazil, Brazolino played her first two seasons of collegiate volleyball at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida, where she was named to the NAIA's Region XIV First Team as a sophomore after helping the Eagles to a 24-12 overall record. Last season she ranked second on the team in kills (308), while also finishing third in digs (366) and service aces (61).

"Two of Daniela's biggest selling points are her work ethic and the fact that her mom's a coach," continued Sirola. "Growing up in Brazil, she's played volleyball all her life, but she also has a great knowledge of the game and genuinely wants to get better at it. We're definitely excited to have her here at ORU."

Brazolino saved her best performance for last in 2005, tallying career-highs of 23 kills and 29 digs in a 3-1 victory over Northwood University. In two seasons at Embry-Riddle, she registered 419 kills, 494 digs, 71 blocks and 69 service aces.
