What I REALLY would like to see and hear are remnants of the music that was played in the early 1970s. The Titans (then) would enter the floor with amazing looking warmup jerseys, and the music sounded a bit like the Harlem Globe Trotters. Add the colorful basketballs, and watch the show! theeagleman5 Posted July 27, 2021 Share Posted July 27, 2021 Loved the ORU entrance to Mabee Center back in the day....Student section was always full at least 30-35 minutes before tip off just to watch warm ups.....and Deep Purple?...yeah...now you are talkin'!!!............ TheEagleman seems to recall that sometimes the ORU band would play Glory Bound by The Grass Roots when ORU would come onto the court for warm ups....this would have been early to mid 70s....anybody remember that?...
