Old Titan
Grad transfer from Arkansas Tech. 6'-0" guard from Forrest City (AR) High School (about 50 miles west of Memphis). Red-shirted as a freshman walk-on at the University of Arkansas. Transferred to Arkansas Tech where he played three seasons. Led a sub-.500 team in scoring last season (17.6) while averaging an impressive 6.0 assists per game. Shot .357 from 3-point range (71-of-199); that's over 7 attempts a game from behind the arc. Keenan Henderson
Grad transfer, which ORU needed, will give the team some experience. Should be a solid backup at point guard. Guessing Coach Bozeman, Little Rock graduate, has some connections with Arkansas Tech. Tech is only about an hour from Little Rock. Now the Eagles have only one scholarship left for next year, unless someone is transferring.

Couple of things: You don’t get a one-and-done grad transfer to sign-on-the-line-that-is-dotted unless you give him reason to believe he has a chance to earn a starting job. In his video Q-&-A with ORU Asst. AD Scott Higgins today, Coach Mills says he expects to sign as many as four new players this spring (not counting the two kids who he says signed in the fall). Keenan Henderson
Just watching the video, he is small, but has some really good moves to the basket and makes sharp passes. So it is RJ vs RJ for who will be the starting point guard next year. Sure he will get a shot but Fuqua is still the starter unless he gets hurt again. Old Titan
The young man does drop some dimes, doesn't he? ORU will now have three very similar guys in the backcourt in Fuqua, Abmas, and Glasper, each expecting 30 minutes or so a game. Due to their size, all will be defensive liabilities at the 2-guard, but I would bet that two-out-of-three of them will be on the floor at the same time next season. Which means one thing: a lot of threes in/or transition, hoping to outscore the big shooting guards in the Summit League, such as SDSU's Noah Friedel (6'4") and USD's Stanley Umude (6'6"), who are going to be licking their chops with the prospect of a sub-six-footer guarding them. TrueBlue82
In addition to the assists, I like his ability to fake a drive, step back, and drain a three, ala Vinnie Shahid (which is high praise). Whether he will be able to pull this off consistently against D-1 talent is still in question - but I like his chances.

Remember, we have committed Guards coming in at 6' 3 " and 6' 5:" that I believe will compete with the 2 or 3 with Amas along with DJ Weaver 6 8 " at the 3.. We could still get two more spots as suggested if someone does not come back but I would like to see frontcourt additions.
Keenan Henderson
Last year Glasper had 14 points and 4 assists agaisnt D1 Texas- Arlington. Small sample size but does show he can play agaisnt quality teams. He brings more of a scoring ability to the point guard position where as Fuqua is stronger with steals, commits fewer turnovers, and has experience running ORU's offense. Coach Mills always has a lot of good things to say about Fuqua.
Dr. Cornelius
Not really a fan of signing additional sub-6' guards. Like @Old Titan said, that's a non-starter in the Summit especially if you're rolling more than one out there. That said, this signing probably won't end up any worse than Lazenby did. This kid looks like a player; he’s just too much of the same thing. And the two incoming guards that are over 6-feet tall look pretty thin. What’s needed is for D’Mauria Jones to step-up at the “2”, or for the next (last?) recruit to be a similar body type as his, with a junkyard dog mentality on defense. Keenan Henderson
Jones never got a chance last year, only playing when games had already been decided. He seemed like a solid role player type so maybe Coach will give him an opportunity to show what he can do in 20-21.
Keenan Henderson
We have talked a lot about KO but a transfer who got lost in the mix was RJ Glasper. He has been the best player on his team this year at Incarate Word. RJ is averaging 15 points and close to 3 assists a game. He has also hit 30 straight free throws. RJ is a bright spot on a 5-21 team.
