Merrimack is tied with Michigan State heading into the 9th, attempting to finish a 4 game series sweep. That first weekend series tie is not looking nearly as devastating right now. theeagleman5 Posted February 23, 2020 Author Share Posted February 23, 2020 Well....TheEagleman admits he was wrong about this series...Notary 7 1/3 inning of very good pitching to lead ORU to a 4-2 victory today and the series win.....Baylor not a Top 25 team right now but always a contender in the Big 12 at the end.... EagleFan21 Posted February 24, 2020 Share Posted February 24, 2020 Baseball is a funny game, but the Eagles proved this weekend that you can't count them out. Taking 2 out of 3 from a forminable Big 12 opponent on the road is a step in the right direction. Our pitching, hitting and fielding were all solid. The boys in blue made you proud and represented ORU and Summitt League well. Making the trip to Waco was certainly worthwhile, as we saw some great baseball.
