Hard to believe baseball season is right around the corner.  H/S teams are practicing, some NAIA teams are already playing, D1 starts next Friday and MLB pitchers and cathers report next Wednesday!

Nothing like the soothing sounds of mitts popping & bats cracking to say Spring is on the way!

Way to battle boys.  It was a cold one, but we got the W.  Saw some good things today and think we'll see this team get even better over the next 30 days.  Fly Eagles Fly!

Not a great start to say the least.

The video looked good.  I figured out how to dial up the game on the Xbox so I could watch on the big screen.  That was pretty cool.

Very anemic performance today by the offense.  It appeared that the team was expecting a "walkover" weekend as a warm-up to next week's trip to Baylor.  WAY too many fly balls that got knocked down by the wind for easy catches.  The pitching and defense were decent, but Merrimack was scrappy and took advantage of every opportunity that they were given.  All the energy was in the third base dugout today - in fact, listening to the broadcast, the visitors were often louder than the home team and fans combined.  Early season gut check for the team and coaching staff.

Baylor will wipe the floor with  us...…...plus we have an upcoming road trip to Dallas Baptist in the next few weeks....ORU better get their heads out of their you know what and quickly....starting today would be nice....gotta get a series split...losing 3 of 4 to Merrimack at home would be a disgrace....….😬

Hunter Swift with 8 strong innings today and ORU salvages a split with Merrimack, 4-1....so the world didnt end...at least not today....😁
