tmh8286
ORU drops a pair today to San Francisco. I think with these two losses ORU goes to .500 on the season. Six losses in a row. We've played some tough teams, but Coach Walton has got to be a little disappointed at this point. I'm also surprised that they haven't kept up with the game situation a little better on the ORUGoldenEagles.com web page. All afternoon the article at the top of the page was entitled, "Game Cancelled Today", which actually refers to the game yesterday.

TrueBlue82
Frankly, the schedule this season hasn't been as tough as in past years. A .500 record at this point pretty much guarantees ORU a #4 seed in the NCAA tourney, assuming that the Eagles prevail in a notoriously weak Mid-Con race. This leads to a first-round match-up against a top-seeded team - and most likely on their home field. Not exactly what we were hoping for... but this is a young team - and hopefully they will come together in time for the playoffs.
