TrueBlue82 Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 There are six teams that play soccer in the Summit League. ORU now has as many overall wins (8) as the five other teams combined.
ORU82 Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 They are impressive and fun to watch. Thanks ORU Athletics for live streaming the matches. Go Golden Eagles! 1
theeagleman5 Posted September 29, 2019 Author Posted September 29, 2019 Six wins in a row for ORU!....now 8-1 after this 6-nil win over Purdue-Fort Wayne.....a pair for Reed and Arias....next up will be at Eastern Illinois next Saturday......
ORU82 Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 Eastern Illinois played perennial league favorite Denver to a double overtime tie yesterday. Our match with EIU will not be a cakewalk.
ORUalum Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 RPI dips to 46....HBU, Cal Baptist, Incarnate Word all lost last night; while SIUE picked up a nice win over Central Arkansas....
EagleManiac Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 I was at the game last night and it was UGLY. Every bit as bad as the score indicates. These guys could be really good. The next three games will be huge.

The men were picked fourth in the coach's preseason poll, but it looks like they are the team to beat right now. Would be awesome if men's soccer becomes the only sport other than baseball to win a Summit League title since ORU's return from the Southland Conference. 1
