theeagleman5 Posted May 22, 2019 Share Posted May 22, 2019 Opening games are this afternoon with #1 Omaha vs. #4 WIU and then tonight as #2 SDSU plays #3 ORU.....who wins this thing is anybody's guess but TheEagleman hopes that playing at home greatly increases our chances...even if we are the "visiting" team tonight.....GO BLUE!! It's been a long time since we've missed a Summit League tournament. But the grandson needs some Mimi/Papa time and the parents are out. theeagleman5 Posted May 23, 2019 Author Share Posted May 23, 2019 Last night's weather related postponement makes winning this tournament a bit more difficult for ORU....we now will have to win a pair of games today to stay in the winners' bracket....if ORU wins the noon game vs. SDSU we will have to come back tonight vs. a rested Omaha squad.....a loss in either game today will require ORU to win a pair of games tomorrow just to make it to the Championship game on Saturday.....so....best case scenario is that ORU beats SDSU at noon and then Omaha tonight....we would then be able to rest up until Friday night when we would play the winner of the Losers' Bracket who would have had to win a Friday afternoon game.....geez....TheEagleman has himself confused.....
