Old Titan
This is FANTASTIC news for ORU and the Summit League; I'm frankly surprised the Horizon League is agreeing to it, since they are perennially the higher-ranked conference comprised of so many former Mid-Con/Summit schools... TrueBlue82
Excellent news! And two games (home and away) for each of the three seasons - spectacular!
Dr. Cornelius
This is pretty big for the league. Much better than the current WAC deal.
Old Titan
These recent mid-major alliances may be indicative of how the new "quadrant" scheduling parameters are affecting the non-conference landscape. Bigger schools will be scheduling each other a lot more than in the past; leaves fewer spots in November and December for as many "guarantee" games with mid- and low-majors. Schools like Arkansas and Syracuse, which for decades have sat at home before Christmas playing their "bum-of-the-week" schedule of guarantee opponents, will now be playing more intersectional games vs. similar Power 7 schools in order to enhance their at-large NCAA profiles. The little guys gotta find somebody to play, home and away - this is one way to do it.

lakesbison
Not bad at all. I'd rather do a Summit/Missouri Valley package as those schools are closer!.
