ORU Head Coach Misti Cussen is one win shy of 100th all-time career victories at the helm for the Golden Eagles. The game will be streamed online via ORU Sports Network. Last season, the Fighting Hawks finished tied for ninth in the final Big Sky Conference standings. The Fighting Hawks won their league opener, 79-60, at home against Purdue Fort Wayne on December 30. North Dakota returned four starters from last season and added six newcomers. Lexi Klabo was named Summit League Player of the Week for the second time this season. Quick Hits ORU will face North Dakota for the first-ever meeting between the two programs. The Golden Eagles won their Summit League opener 71-56 at Omaha on December 30. A win for the Golden Eagles would give the women's team back-to-back Summit League wins and improves their record to 2-0. Maya Mayberry was named to the Summit League preseason all-league second team. Mayberry currently averages 12.3 points per game. Lakota Beatty averages 14.8 points per game which puts her at seventh in the Summit League and 16th in the nation in three-point field goals made. Sophomore, Keni Jo Lippe, averages 12.6 points per game and is currently second in the Summit League in overall free throws made and is 10th in the nation. As a whole, ORU is tied for seventh in the nation in overall three-point field goals made. Head Coach Misti Cussen is in her seventh season at the helm for the Golden Eagles and holds a 99-99 overall head coaching record.
