Not sure where to put this... it’s not basketball related. The ORU Athletic Department announced a new marketing campaign to replace “Rise Up”.  This year it will be: “The Golden Standard”

Golden Eagles, I get it, but why not just Gold Standard...I agree with alum, seems a bit clunky

gold on gold................i just hope this stuff is being done in house and they are not paying an ad agency

if they are paying for this ad campaign.........wow!

The little ORU on a giant basketball is back. Great... 

Otherwise, I don't mind it. Every school's marketing slogans are clunky or corny or weird in some way.

This sounds like an internal idea that was farmed out to their agency of record for design. I’m not sure what’s worse, the phrase itself, or the myopic explanation.

The slogan is not bad. The gold on gold images they're putting on their social media are. Not to mention the tiny little bird. Somebody has got to fix that. No Bueno.
