Idig32
I like it! 6'7 Euro style player. Hopefully, he can shoot, as I think that will be our biggest need next year.
ORUParentLurker
That translation reminds me of a News Radio episode where Jimmy James had his autobiography translated to Chinese and then back to English Nice length and good shooting in that video. Certainly a "defense optional" league so its hard to tell exactly what level of skill he has. His lateral speed would be my question cuz it will say which positions he could play. A great pickup for sure!

A great pickup for sure! Speed is definitely a question but in the Summit League Lācis and Weaver could be match-up problems on the wings with their size. ORUalum
Red-shirt candidate?? He could probably use a year to put on some muscle and get used to the physicality of the American game.
ORUTerry
He’s 19 years old - so a bit older than a normal freshman. It would be nice to red-shirt players so they can mature - but we need bodies on the court.
ORUParentLurker
Right now I'm happy to get bodies for practice. This looks like some good raw material. Weaver was defensive MVP in his district in Houston. They will probably go head to head a lot and learn some things from each other.

Keenan Henderson
Good for Francis, another solid guy, much like Carlos was. Maybe ORU can recruit some more European players? We shall see.
Idig32
Hasn’t Sam Patterson been the connection with the Euros? If so, then hopefully we can keep up the connection with him remaining on staff. 1
