Mastodons at JLJ for a weekend series and anything less than an ORU sweep will be a major cause for concern....not that TheEagleman isn't already concerned about this team....but this should be interesting....hoping that Good Guys bats and pitching wake up soon....very soon.....:eagles:

Heading into this series, the Mastodons currently sport a 6-21 overall record and are 2-10 in the Summit.  They have wins over Alabama A&M (7-4), UALR (3-2), Murray State (7-5), Butler (5-1) and WIU (3-1 & 6-1).  Not an overly impressive record.  The Good Guys should and must sweep this series.  These are teams we should have wins over.  I too have serious concerns about this team.  These games are being played at JLJ.

Looks like Folmar might have finally found his SS and LF

Nice to see production from the bottom of the lineup.

That's quite a catch!....glad to see ORU back in the win column but it wasn't easy last night having to come from 4-0 down early and it was 4-4 until the home 8th.....but nice to see 18 hits.....ORU up today 2-0 in the 2nd inning of Game 2.....a sweep is mandatory against this weak Fort Wayne squad now 6-22....ORU is 18-14 (9-4)....:eagles:

A bit of normalcy returned to JLJ this afternoon as ORU ten run ruled Fort Wayne 11-1....Ausua with a 7 inning one hitter and 3 hits each for Henson and Rotola who also had 4 RBI....Good Guys will go for a much needed sweep tomorrow....GO BLUE....:eagles:

Another ten run rule win today at JLJ as ORU routed woeful Fort Wayne, 12-1....Justin McGregor took a no hitter into the 7th and wound up going 6 1/3 innings giving up just one run on 3 hits....the Good Guys banged out 16 hits and Nick Roark had a HR....ORU now 20-14 and back in first place at 11-4 in the Summit...next up we have OSU at Stillwater on Tuesday then a big series next weekend at 3rd place So. Dakota State....TheEagleman feels a bit better after this weekends' sweep but this club still has a lot to prove.....:eagles:

Nick Roark's HR was an in the park HR.  The Ft. Wayne CF dove for a ball and missed.  The ball went to the fence and Nick circled the bases. First in the park I've seen at ORU in my 20+ years of attending.
