ORU at North Dakota St.

Not sure who decided it was a good idea to have ORU playing another tough road game barely 39 hours after finishing up a draining contest at SDSU but it is what it is....gonna be a tall order for the Good Guys to win in Fargo because the Bison will be very angry having lost two straight home games vs. SDSU last week and Denver last night....is it possible for the home team to lose 3 in a row in Fargo?...very unlikely....but our boys have battled really hard over the past month and last nights' loss at Brookings was no exception....we easily could have gotten a W but came up a little short in the final seconds....not sure how much gas ORU will have left in the tank with such a short bench.....TheEagleman just can't see us winning this one....if there is one game on this trip that I thought we could steal this would be the one....we need to have a better percentage from 3 point range and stay out of foul trouble.....gotta pound the ball inside to Javan, Miller, E-Man and Big Albert....still think this is not an impossible task but NDSU losing a third in a row at home isn't likely to happen...another battle in store but ORU comes up a little short again.....NDSU  82  ORU 77......:|:worried:

The Bison will definitely be motivated for this game. If they lose a 3rd game at home this early in the conference schedule, they will have a big hole to dig out from.

NDSU is 9-8 for the year and 1-2 in conference play.

They shoot 47.3% from the field with 43.2% (23.9 shots per game) of their shots coming from behind the 3-point line. They shoot 39.2% from the 3-point line. It appears their style is a bit like SDSU - but they are not as proficient. They average 13.6 assist per game - so they pass/move the ball around.

Miller (6'6" Sr guard) is their best player - scoring 18.2 ppg (44.2% FG% and 38.3% 3-pt%) with 5.8 rpg and 3.7 assist. He is a well rounded, experienced player. The Bison start 2 seniors (both 6'6"), a junior (6'9"), sophomore (6'6") and freshman (6'2"). Not a strong inside presence - more perimeter oriented with drives to the basket.

NDSU drops from a 6.5 to a 5.5 favorite.

Call me crazy but I feel the Golden Eagles come out of Fargo today with a "W".

I'm feeling the same way.  Unless we play significantly below the level that we have played the past two weeks (or run into whistle-happy officials that take over the game), we have an excellent chance to win.

Totally agree TrueBlue, the key is we play with the same intensity we have played with the past two weeks, and the officials don't take over the game or "homer" us.  Go Golden Eagles!

Playing down to NDSU's level and settling for too many outside jumpshots

Ruder making up for lost time. Terrible shot selection by everyone to end the half.

Absolutely no offensive flow this half. Really struggling. NDSU came to play today.

Very depressing so far. I hope we can come back before it's too late.

The tough loss at SDSU took a lot out of ORU, plus you just had to think there was no way NDSU was going to lose three straight conference home games...

That was scary. Javan goes down holding his knee. Our season looks very different with him on the bench. Thankfully he gets up and walks it off. Hopefully he’s held out for the rest of the game.

Oru making a run here! Down 5 with just under 6 minutes left.

Hopefully it doesn't take too long to adjust to a deeper rotation.  I'm surprised Ruder is playing so much basically right off the shelf.
