GoldenEagleFan17
No over the back on Daum. Mills had a right to be upset. No consistency in that call all night.
ORUTerry
We are much farther along most (any) of us thought possible at the start of the season.
GoldenEagleFan17
Great effort as a team tonight on the road against a very good team. A lot of progress has been made.
ORUalum
ORU wasted 15-20 seconds not fouling........just growing pains of a young team. Not a fan of the 3/4 court inbound heave at the end.......ORU had 5 seconds left. There has to be a better option. Amen to what ORUTerry said.......this team is farther along than we thought......and they fought their tails off for 40 minutes. It would have been easy to fold after getting down 12 in the the 2nd half.
theeagleman5
Tough loss.....lots of ORU heart...refs suck....too much home cookin' in Brookings tonight.....
ORUParentLurker
Tough shooting night on the road. The Kearns/White pick and roll did a lot of damage late but it was too late. The foul situation was really lopsided tonight and made the difference. Lost by 3 despite having off night by everyone but Miller.
Old Titan
Very respectable showing. Amazing they ORU was able to hang in there without E-mans best, poor outside shooting, and missed free throws down the stretch. Looked like ORU found something there late with Sam and Jevon running the 2-man game. Something to build on for the next meeting!
Dr. Cornelius
Miller really seems to be finding his touch on the offensive end. Guys never gave up and fought to the end. SDSU is a very talented shooting team but I think we win at Mabee.
theeagleman5
Jacks are very good....best in the Summit League....ORU played with great heart tonight in a tough building on an evening where we didn't have our best shooting night....TheEagleman isn't going to blame the officials but their performance left a lot to be desired....we have to shake it off and get ready for NDSU in just over 36 hours..... ORU82
We have come a very long way and are continuing to improve. We did shoot poorly at times and not very well from the charity stripe. However, we never gave up and SDSU is a very good team. The future is starting to look a lot better. Way to hang in their Golden Eagles, now go to Fargo and come out with a "W". ORU GRAD
19-8 on Fouls. That last call hurt on over the back but this team is for real. Great job on the road with Home Cooking!
TrueBlue82
Winning at home and splitting on the road is a great recipe for winning a conference championship. Having played the conference favorite toe-to-toe on their home court gives me great hope for some Summit road wins in the future. Frankly, our toughest three road games are tonight and the next two, so any win in the Dakotas would be a great start to splitting all Summit road games.
theeagleman5
Only 10 fouls called all night on SDSU according to the box score....geez....
ORUIllini
ORU is the only road team to LOSE tonight in the Summit League... Denver holds on to beat NDSU by 6....the Bison will certainly not want to go winless for the weekend....

So I imagine it will be a big crowd.
ORUTerry
I think we threw it down the court to minimize the possibility of them fouling us and eliminate the three point play.
