So how is it that Mid-Major FGCU manages to play 8 home games by the middle of December and ORU struggles to get anyone to come to Mabee Center?....just sayin'.....guess maybe Fort Myers is a more desirable place to visit than Tulsa.....:wasntme:

TheEagleman thinks ORU can remain competitive in this one if we play like we did last Sunday....have not seen a line yet but probably ORU +8 or 9 points I would guess....tough call....we probably go down to FGCU by about 85-75....:tb-white:

So Owens didn't start.  Interesting to see a player that was such a big part of the team last year, take a step back and actually lose his starting position.

The rest of the team is playing hard and has a 7 point lead at half.  Gonna half to duplicate the first half to pull out the W.  Looks like Kearns may be out as well.  Bummer

Looks like things are starting to come together for this team.

Yes they are. The team seems to be getting used to playing this aggressive zone defense. We are also playing to our strength (post)

ORU 83 FGCU 64....that's nuts!....looks like benching Albert worked and now impressive wins over MSU and FGCU. 25 and 11 for Javan and 24/11 for E-man. We outrebound them 40-20....TheEagleman calls this turnaround a Christmas Miracle...bring on the Hogs!!!:eagles:

I liked the passing. This team shares the ball - and that resulted in multiple dunks.

Mills was interviewed after the game on the ESPN broadcast. He was very humble and deflected any praise to the players.

Thank God that we are not playing 4 guard offense and Mills has brought toughness to this team. What a game. Congrats to players who never let up and kept fighting. Dunk City- ORU owned that gym tonight .Javon and Emman double double. :sunglasses:

This team is starting to really come together.  Arkansas and Minnesota will be serious challenges but if we continue to improve we can make some serious noise in the Summit.  Hopefully Albert gets things together soon.

Yes!!!! Loved the toughness I saw from the team tonight. Glad that Sam came back in the second half.
