Sobering that ORU can play so much better than at TU, yet still be down by a larger margin at halftime.

It will be a true test of character to see how they hold together in the second d half, because OSU is not going to back off on the pressure.

Really a shame ORU does not have a better team.  OSU prime for an upset:

  • Dead crowd
  • 2 starters out
  • Rookie coach
  • Probation looming??

Don't see how we are playing better than the TU game. Worse in FG%, 3FG%, Rebound margin, etc... Only improvement would be free throw %

First look at this team. We look lost on the offensive end, guys all in each other's space.

OSU getting on the offensive glass at will. That last bucket looked like the lay-up line.

We do play hard though. More than you can say of the last few teams of the Sutton era. RJ does seem like the high-energy guard type, if not a classic PG. Reminds me of the guard Oakland had the years they were good. Forget his name, but he was a pest.

Clock malfunction stretching into serious delay. Would anyone be too upset if they just called the game, like a baseball rainout?

This is Bill Self yr 1 all over again.

I hope Mills and staff can evaluate talent and coach 'em close to what Bill was able to do.

The lack of depth is a problem.  Our gaurds can't really play aggressive defense for fear of foul trouble.  And when you are never in transition you will look slow and unathletic.  Internet geniuses will say you have no talent.

These guys are better than  this.  They just need space and ball movement to show it.

This guy played behind Jones. All I remember is that he had a flat top. RJ is probably more skilled, but with his size seems like he would be that type of specialist
