Old Titan
Wes is a great guy, and I'm happy for him, but reading between the lines: what happened to Sean Snedeker, who as recently as this week was re-posting @ORUBaseball stuff on Twitter? ORU baseball has really been on a roll the past few seasons, and Snedeker and Davis both were a huge part of the success in their specific roles. Here's hoping this major shift within the staff is not just the result of budget cuts or some other bureaucratic nonsense from "The Hill". ORUalum
that's a big blow.....i hope it's that he took a better job and not something else. that staff could be really something special this year with who they have coming back. one thing i really appreciated about Snedeker was the managing of pitch counts. for all the hype about Rob Walton's genius as a pitching coach, i was never a fan of the 130+ pitch count games that he allowed. ORUTerry
I heard he took a job at Lamar for more money than we could match. Sean did not want to leave, but this gets him closer to family in Texas, etc. This is a loss but a great opportunity for Wes...,
