theeagleman5
Our guys head up to Nebraska for a couple days to play the Mavericks who are struggling with a 7-24 (5-7 Summit) record.....so this is a series we should win.....single game on Friday afternoon and a DH on Saturday.....off on Easter Sunday......ORU is a sparkling 23-9 (11-1) and coming off a big win over #11 Oklahoma........GO BLUE!..... Bogus Smith
Cold front is coming through Omaha on Saturday afternoon. Depending on when the team arrives today, I wouldn't be surprised to see them flip-flop the schedule with a doubleheader on Friday and single game on Saturday just to make sure that the games get played (assuming Omaha wants to take the chance at getting swept). ORU82
Is there a weather delay in Omaha? I can not get either stats or audio for the first game which should have started at 2:00 pm ET.
theeagleman5
Game postponed today by weather.... Rescheduled for Sunday afternoon. So much for Easter off....heck....just play 3 on Saturday....12, 4 and 8......

ORU82
12-0 run rule victory in 7 innings for the 2nd game today. Keep up the good works guys.
theeagleman5
Amazing day for ORU with the bats and an on the mound....not often that you can hold the opposition to just 7 hits combined in a DH but McGregor, McMinn and Glaze did just that today. We only had to play 14 total innings winning 12-1 and 12-0...big day for Cummings at the plate....Eagles now 25-9 (13-1)....see...tattoos not a problem... TrueBlue82
12-0 and 12-1 run rule wins move us from 91 to 98 RPI. Tough to move up in the Summit.
theeagleman5
The Good Guys have rallied from behind and now lead Omaha 7-3 thru 8..... Ausua pitched 6 strong innings giving up just 1 earned run....Whatley is 3-4 with 4 RBI....
ORU82
Good Guys win 7-3 to complete the weekend sweep of Omaha. Next up is a Tuesday night road trip to OSU. Keep it up Golden Eagles, take it to the Cowboys!
theeagleman5
This has been one of the roughest weeks to be an ORU Alum/fan....but 3 things are still certain....Christ is Risen....God is in control and this Golden Eagle baseball team keeps winning despite all the negative media buzzing about our University....they show that tattoos or no tattoos....faith test or not its pitching , timely hitting and defense that wins games....TheEagleman is very proud of this 26-9 team....Go Blue. And Go ORU.....
TrueBlue82
Check out the thesummitleague.org baseball page, and you'll find ORU players dominating the statistics as well as the W-L record. The top FIVE leaders in RBIs are ALL from ORU: Cummings 43, Whatley 27, Snypes 27, Williams 25 and Roark 25. Very impressive! And Noah Cummings with 43 RBI is off the charts!
