ORU rebounds to get the series opener vs the Bison at JLJ, 9-1....6 innings of excellent sbuyout pitching by Justin McGregor and first inning back to back HRs by Roark and What let....we are now 10-7....:eagles:

Folmar finally changed his Friday night starter and moved Williams out of the 5 hole in the order with excellent results.

Yes....good moves by our Coach Folmar....and ORU came back with another 5-1 win today to clinch the series over the Bison....Trevor McCutchin with a pair of HRs and 2.1 scoreless innings pitched was the star of the contest. Josh McMinn with another solid 5 inning start to overcome 4 Golden Eagle errors...Mike Hungate had 3 hits...ORU improves to 11-7....:eagles:

ORU sweeps the Bison, 8-2 at JLJ. 7 shutout innings by Ausua who could be a real stud....4 hits for Snypes and an HR for Williams led the way....Golden Eagles now 12-7 (3-0)...Wichita St. Up next on Tuesday as the home stand continues....:eagles::clap:

Best defensive line-up ORU has put out there in a long time.

Still leaving too many men on base, but the small-ball approach on Sunday paid dividends.  Still having some issues getting bunts down and moving runners over, but it's getting there.

If the pitching can hang in there, this team has lots of potential.  Should learn more this weekend when South Dakota State comes to town.  The Jackrabbits appear to be the most competitive squad in the conference so far.

Yes sir....the Jacks are the only other team in the Summit with a .500+ record and are 3-0 in league after sweeping Omaha this weekend...but they have beaten a lot of stiff teams not even D-1 except they went 1-2 in Stillwater vs. Oklahoma State earlier in the month.....ORU still appears to be far and away the class of the Summit League....:eagles::oru-logo::eagles:
