theeagleman5
A surprisingly impressive win at IUPUI on Saturday night....TheEagleman had a late gut feeling that ORU would play well and hang close..and the boys managed to hang on....but Let's face it...ORU is still a VERY long shot to make the Summit League Tournament at Sioux Falls....We must win at least 2 of the final 3 games and we play at #2 South Dakota on Saturday and #1 NDSU at Mabee Center next week.....that makes the game this Thursday night at Omaha a must win and the Mavericks aren't bad and have already whipped us in Tulsa.....so it's simple... if we can get a split this week on the road, then the ORU-NDSU game will basically be a play in game at Mabee.....honestly, ORU is really playing with house money...there are no expectations and TheEagleman has not seen a team in this league that we can't compete with on any given night....so you know the old saying....EXPECT A MIRACLE!!!.....GO BLUE!!!.... Old Titan
Based on these comments (and my own humble observations) it appears the key to ORU's success the rest of the way is Aaron Anderson. He brings a number of qualities to the table that are sorely lacking elsewhere on the roster.

ORU beat Omaha in Tulsa 103-86, our widest D1 margin of victory this season.
theeagleman5
Geez....senility has definitely sunk in on TheEagleman....my bad......thanks for the correction TrueBlue....we did beat Omaha at Mabee and we surely can beat these guys again on Thursday night....this is a MUST game because South Dakota is on a roll and tough at home...I don't think we can win that game Saturday afternoon on the road with less than 48 hours rest.....but let's just take them one at a time and focus in on Omaha....amazingly we are still in the race for the 8th spot....but we might need some help...
