IUPUI at ORU

The Jags are in town for a Saturday afternoon contest on Hall of Fame Day.....I believe that Sam McCants has two years of eligibility left...suit him up.....even at 66 years old he might be an improvement over the PG play that we have seen this season.....but IUPUI is struggling having lost 3 in a row after beating WIU in their Summit opener....they are 7-11 overall and coming off a home loss to Omaha on Wednesday night....so this is another game that ORU should win.....have to admit that our offense was very impressive last night shooting 50% but the SDSU defense might be more woeful than ours....still, Albert and KMart came up big and Eman also played his best game of the new year....for some reason this ORU team is a different squad at home and plays with a lot of confidence on the offensive end....we still don't play D but I think we will play enough to win tomorrow afternoon and we have our lucky Gold uniforms......looking for more of the same from Owens and Martin maybe 20 or so each and ORU rolls to an 86-74 victory with two more home games coming up next week....GO GOLD!!!....:eagles::eagles::oru-logo:

BREAKING NEWS FROM THE MABEE CENTER:  Dez McDaniel needs more minutes.

Agree. Really like Dez's game.

Plays in control, isn't lost on defense, and has good shot selection.

The defense was alright and we made a little run when we had Dez McDaniel, Aaron Anderson, and Darian Harris on the floor at the same time.

Then Scott switched to a 4 guard lineup without Eman or Chris Miller on the floor and we stopped rebounding, started giving up easy drives to the basket and open looks and we lost our lead.
