Oh boy....impressive resume.....great time for him to come back vs. ORU....still hard to believe that are throwing him in there in game 1.....we will see on Friday night...I am sure TCU Coaches know what they are doing...but TheEagleman still thinks that this is a winnable game.....:eagles:

Looks like there's a weather delay in Fort Worth? First pitch now set for 7:45 CT

TheEagleman watching the game live on ESPNU.....field is a disgrace....total quagmire in the outfield.....but ORU still hanging in down 1-0 in the 4th giving up an unearned run on a throwing error in the first....Howe pitching in and out of trouble...he won't go more than 5....throwing a ton of pitches so far....the TCU ace is good....but ORU battling....:eagles:

Howe pitched on nothing but guts tonight.  That should be it for him.  5 innings and 104 pitches.  he kept them in the game....need the bats to wake up.

I thought the same thing Alum. Seemed like he was done after 5. Oh well. Doesn't seem to be our night. Bases loaded and no runs really hurt.

The 7-0 final score was not indicative of how the game was played.  A couple more breaks go our way and it's a completely different story. Now we face some REAL adversity coming back to play 12 hours later.

Big shout out to Trevin Sonnier for a couple of BIGTIME defensive plays at shortstop.  Kept it from getting ugly early.

Two huge errors....poor decision by our coach to bring Howe out for another inning and no clutch hitting....but just not ORU's night...we hit some balls hard with men on base but nothing would drop.....so we have a quick turnaround in 12 hours to play the 2 seed Arizona State.....not gonna be easy....EXPECT A MIRACLE!.....:eagles:

kind of like the last few weeks.....so many pop up and fly ball outs.  was Rotola's line out to 3rd to start the game the hardest struck ball of the night?

they could just never seem to get comfortable at the plate against the 6'7" starter for TCU.

they will need the bats to heat up, or it's cue the Kenny Smith "Gone Fishing" photoshop.

Gotta get some offense going. Three hits, but can't string anything together.

They really threatened in the 8th and 9th. Just couldn't put any runs across the plate. Impressive outting from their little pitcher.

Second year in a row we have been less than impressive in the "Big Dance".
