EagleManiac
The Pokes roll into Tulsa for a 6:30 matchup with the Eagles tomorrow night. Looks like the weather should be cleared up by then. Always embarassing to have more orange than navy in our own stadium. Hopefully we have a good crowd to support the boys.
theeagleman5
TheEagleman was surprised to read that the all time series between these two teams is only 34-32 in favor of OSU....and ORU has won 5 of the last 6 meetings...The Pokes are ranked 14th in the nation so a win tonight looks really nice on our NCAA resume especially since we would finish 6-1 for the season vs. the Big 12 and 2-0 vs. OSU....the Golden Eagles are a phenomenal 18-3 at JLJ this season.....if the weather is nice, I would think that there will be a nice turnout for this one..... goldeneagle1992
Great pitching leads to a 3-1 victory for the good guys!
theeagleman5
WOOOO HOOOO!!!........Great pitching and a few timely hits is all it took....ORU sweeps OSU on the season and beating the 14th ranked team in the final week should help our NCAA seeding if we hold serve and win the Summit Title next week.....ORU now 33-16 on the season heading to Omaha for the final 3 games of the regular season.....GO BLUE!!!.... ORUJason
It is definitely impressive for ORU to have a 6-1 record vs the Big 12. I am happy for Ryan Folmar that the team is continuing to have success under his leadership because it is tough to follow such a successful coach as Rob Walton. theeagleman5
Attendence at JLJ last night for the OSU game listed as 1,869.....can anybody who was at the game comment on the % of ORU fans vs. OSU fans?....
ORUJason
It is also a sign of good coaching that the team appears to be improving as the season goes on.

Hard to tell. Probably about 50-50. The crowd was relatively quiet (probably due to the cold temperatures), and the vast majority in attendance were not wearing gear from either school. Proud of the way our baseball team represents the school. Really hope we can make some noise this post-season.
