ORUTerry
ORU signed Spencer Sutton (Sean Sutton's son) to a basketball scholarship. He is a 6'4", 225 lb (per stats on Hudl) senior at Holland Hall. He was injured this year (ACL) and did not play this basketball season. He was a tight end on the Holland Hall basketball team. http://m.tulsaworld.com/sportsextra/oru/mensbasketball/sean-sutton-s-son-signs-basketball-scholarship-with-oru/article_b44512c3-8e5c-5ca3-b520-5898b1f690f1.html?mode=jqm
ORUJason
When your parent is a full-time ORU employee, don't you automatically receive free tuition and room expenses, so that your only out of pocket expense is board (food)? If so, then certainly they wouldn't have to actually use a basketball scholarship for Spencer. I hope he is actually good enough to play D-1 basketball. Are there any high school statistics available for Spencer?

He shot 33% from behind the 3-point arc (37/111). He grabbed 6.1 rebounds per game.
ORUalum
i bet if Obi is granted a 6th year, this would be the scholarship spot and Spencer would be a walk on the first year for the reasons Jason listed about being the child of an employee. that's just my guess....
