EagleManiac
We managed to pull out a W in game two by a score of 3-2. We almost gave it away in the 8th but Brady Womacks came on to pitch to limit the damage to just 2 runs, then closed out in the ninth. On to game 3. EagleManiac
End up losing this one 8-9. We had a chance in the 9th inning, down 7-9 with two on, no outs, and Matt Whatley at the plate. Matt turned and made a comment after a questionable strike was called. The ump then called two VERY questionable strikes in a row to punch Whatley out, and made every call against us from then on. Folmar never came out to talk with the ump, but was yelling and pointing his finger at him on his way to shake hands with the opposing coach. Unfortunate, but a great example of why players are better off keeping quiet when things don't go their way.
