Starting the season at 1-5 would be discouraging, so we've got to take at least one game this weekend. It would be great if we could pull two games before coming home to play Arkansas-Little Rock next weekend. EaglesFan Posted February 28, 2016 Share Posted February 28, 2016 6-Run DBU Bottom of 6th makes this a contest again. Our relief pitching isn't look good (after a very good 5-inning start). Score 10-7 in the bottom of 7th. The VIDEO broadcast of DBU is OUTSTANDING! Great camera work, quality announcers, Multiple cameras, etc. Very professional production and presentation. If ORU decides to go big-time with their video, this would be a "model" to follow... Is it possible we could blow a 10-1 Lead going into the bottom of the 6th???? theeagleman5 Posted February 28, 2016 Share Posted February 28, 2016 Well...it's possible but TheEagleman is glad to say it didn't happen....ORU wins the game and the series, 12-7....Nick Roark the star with 4 hits, 4 RBI and an HR.....and Brady Womacks gets the save with 3 solid innings of scoreless relief.....big win for the Golden Eagles now 3-3 on the season....Missouri State up next on the road..... And today we beat a pitcher who was a freshman All-American last year - scoring five runs in the top of the first. Could be a really fun season - if we can find some additional middle relief. Totally agree. Very impressive audio and video - and while the announcers were obviously supporting the home team (as I would expect), they were very complimentary of the ORU baseball program.
