theeagleman5 Posted January 7, 2016 Share Posted January 7, 2016 ORU ladies stun SD at Mabee Center last night....the Coyotes had come in at 10-4 and one of the top teams in the Summit....but Jordan Doyle scored 19 and the Golden Eagles rallied in the final quarter to pull out a huge win....who would have thought just a few weeks ago that the ORU ladies would be 2-1 in the Summit and the ORU men 0-3?.....yikes!.... titansforever Posted January 7, 2016 Share Posted January 7, 2016 The game was a nail-biter throughout. We struggled to tie, struggled to go ahead and stay ahead--but God bless Jordan Doyle! She hit a monster 3-shot at the buzzer at the end of the 2nd quarter. Major morale booster! We had a hard time with layups, but props to Faith--she kept shooting, and eventually, it all clicked. The ladies never gave up, played some tough defense--and we got the W. I was very impressed with Blair. I thought she looked a little bit lost, but seeing those shots she made, I think she just wanted the Coyotes to think she wasn't a threat! This team is cookin'.
