theeagleman5 Posted April 4, 2015 Author Share Posted April 4, 2015 Those 3 Stafford errors were a killer today....and our pitching was mediocre....ORU had enough runs to win...in fact we had four HRs.....but we drop to 19-10 overall and 9-2 in the Summit...we still have a 2 game lead over Omaha.....SDSU is in 3rd place in the Summit 3 games behind ORU....15-12 overall....Good Guys need to get the rubber game tomorrow to put some space between us and the Jacks.... 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

theeagleman5 Posted April 6, 2015 Author Share Posted April 6, 2015 Big win for the Good Guys today at SDSU....we smoked the Jacks, 9-2 to take the series....big game for CF Derrian James....3-5 with 4 rbi and a HR.....shutout pitching by Giller for 4 innings then McDavid for 3 2/3.....ORU moves to 20-10 overall and 10-2 in the Summit....Top 20 Texas Tech comes to JLJ this Tuesday then we go on the road for 7 straight games....Go Blue!.... ManiacAlum Posted April 6, 2015 Share Posted April 6, 2015 It's a shame to not complete the sweep and keep the streak going due to what sounds like poor defense and execution. I had to leave during the 2nd game with ORU still up 4-2, right after Stafford had one go through the legs. Hitting seems to be more consistent, gotta tighten up everywhere else.
