  2. Both teams are terrible. TU shot 20-24 FT Wichita was 2-3. TU gets so much help at home it's embarrassing.

  3. Big game at Mabee Center this Saturday Night and probably a large turnout for Hall of Fame evening.....Denver plays tonight at KC while the good guys are resting up.....Pioneers are ahead of us right now in the standings but lets see if they can beat KC.....ORU really needs to hold serve at home which could be a tall task since Denver looking for revenge after we beat them in December......TheEagleman is looking forward to this match up.....

  4. Oh my gosh/Josh... How about stepping away from the teleprompter and telling us what this really means in English? And try blinking once or twice before you/we fall asleep...

  7. Tommy Bruner is always a problem as he leads the nation in scoring. I thought we did a pretty good job on him in Denver and yet he put up 32 points. He will get his but ORU just has to make sure no one else on Denver goes off. Denver is a lot like ORU in the past: they love to score and play fast but their defense is up and down. I would expect a game in the 80s, which the Eagles still enjoy playing. Get your track shoes ready guys!

  8. Talk about strange reffing.....Check out last nights' Big Ten match up between Purdue and Northwestern.....NW coach gets tossed in the final seconds of OT complaining about the officiating.....Boilers had 46 FTs and Wildcats 8.......largest disparity in the Big Ten conference in this century.....geez.....

  9. Point of emphasis this season to favor the offensive player on drives because defenders have been sliding under and getting the charge calls for so long. Personally, I think this a case of the pendulum swinging back too far in the other direction.

  10. Looks like a very nice solid player. Doesn't let the game speed him up and good handles and passing ability. Those are solid type of guys that can help teams win.

  11. I do not see an answer to my real question: is it not a foul to lower your shoulder and forcibly initiate contact with the defender? If it's not, I don't know how you defend it. I also, then, don't know why we don't do it more. This reminds me why I quit watching NBA all those years ago when Shaq could just bulldoze through the lane and there was nothing anyone could do about it.

  12. He was an all-star in 2022; he was injured most of the 2023 season and they finally put him on the shelf in July/August to have surgery and be ready for 2024. The Yankees knew that they weren't going to make the post season by that time.

  13. Not hitting .210 and coming off injury? I believe Trevi would have risked more than made in arbitration. Plus, I doubt he wanted to leave the Yankees just yet. They are the creme of the crop in organizations. Until Jose is allowed to test the markets, he will continue to make the pay grade provided by the union. Regardless, I'm sure he isn't crying that he is only making $2.7 million doing what he loves to do.
