UPDATE: Hey, wanna know what makes this video so great?
THERE'S NO FREAKING PA ANNOUNCER OR HYPE MAN SINGING ALONG, THAT'S WHAT!
It's genuine. It's organic. It doesn't feel forced or choreographed. It's just fun.
THIS IS THE WAY IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE DONE. #SweetCaroline #Golden/Eagles #etc
Verbal commits shows that we offered a Scholarship yesterday to Lajae. He is listed as shooting guard. Averages 14 points, 8 rebounds and shoots 39% from 3 point range. He played his freshman year at Tartelton State before transferring to Barton Community college in Kansas. He is originally from Jacksonville, Florida. Love that he is a big guard, gets boards, and shoots the three ball. Holds offers as well from Arkansas State and Bethune Cookman.

Looking forward to Thompson vs Mayo, that should be worth the price of admission. One of the best defenders vs one of the best scorers in the league. Thompson needs to win that battle for ORU to pull the upset tonight. Also, the Eagles need someone off the bench to help. Miller was solid vs Omaha and ORU could use his production tonight!
If the SLN is so important to Midco then why won’t they respond to my emails and tweets about their delay in posting SL replays? Why have they not addressed the problem after me bringing it to their attention consistently for weeks?
You claim no association or vested interest but also suggest you know a lot of the details of the arrangement and the economics of the deal. As my teenagers would say “that’s sus!”
ESPN may not care but they post a replay within the hour of a game’s conclusion thus giving their paying customers a good experience.
Plus 1 to ORU82’s comments on the additional value we fans would get from an ESPN deal. Commissioner Hockey talks a lot about the fans but from my perspective the only entity getting value from this arrangement is the league and the fans in the Dakotas whose games have always been behind a paywall.
Yes at 4:00 pm central time today ORU and Omaha still isn’t available but Tea Area vs SF Christian is.
Update: Ashton is a DNP vs. Omaha. Since mysteriously becoming eligible for the 2nd semester, he's seen only limited time but with flashes of Lufile-like power at the rim.
Just wish he could get some minutes; I still think there's hope of him becoming a much-needed presence in the paint in time for Sioux Falls.
I hope this leads to more fans and attention for Denver; it would be great for the league if they (and, frankly, ANYONE outside the Dakotas) can get their program up and going.
Incredible "Summit League After Dark" classic Thursday, with Denver topping South Dakota 111-110 in double overtime on a steal and buzzer-beater.
Max Abmas-doppelganger Tommy Bruner with 49 points for the Pioneers, Kaleb Stewart with merely 44 for the Coyotes. Bruner now holds the highest-scoring single game performance of the year in D1, and leads D1 in scoring average per game.
Be sure to watch the last minute or so of this video; it's time well spent...
Cooper with 19 and the ORU ladies now 15-5 heading into the nationally televised contest at SDSU on Sunday afternoon....best start to a season in over 40 years for the Eagles....GO BLUE!!!
Middle of the pack. And, five of the next six games will be against the four teams currently ahead of ORU in the standings. SDSU at home, Denver at home, UST on the road, SDSU on the road, NDSU at home (currently 7th place), and UND at home. Big opportunity for the Golden Eagles over the next few weeks.
Context: Bob Lutz is the father of sports talk radio in Wichita; according to @ORUTerry he can make or break a coach's career with his opinions.
He was not a fan of the HCPM hiring in the first place; appears even less so in this Twitter post from Wednesday night:
