  1. That's unkind. It's obvious that Mills wants to move Max to PG full time and has pushed his chips all in to make that happen. Max plays 35-40 mins a game and there are other guards that are going to be at ORU longer term that need mins to develop. There is no place for RJ at ORU given the current line up and the fact that after the run, Mills wants to move other guys up. That's not a failing of his but a situational reality that forced him to make a choice. Remember, he only has 1 year left to play college ball and he already has his degree . . . . do you really think it's fair to expect him to stay in that kind of situation?

  2. At some point, games cancelled by COVID restrictions/protocols/etc. need to go into the books as forfeits...(see rant below tweet) When teams have nothing to lose - yet something to gain - by not playing, they need to be held accountable, and suffer the consequences of not being ready to play. Your team is academically ineligible? You forfeit. Suspended for NCAA infractions? You forfeit. Everyone has the flu? Failed drug tests? Too hung over to play? Forfeit. Forfeit. Forfeit. We're past one year into the pandemic. There are bona fide ways to keep your house in order, as ORU has proven by not missing a single athletic contest to a positive test. Oh, and there's a vaccine, in case anyone hasn't heard. It's now time to treat positive COVID tests like anything else that negatively (and unfortunately) affects a team's ability to play: ultimately, it's the responsibility of the team to avoid.

  3. My wife and I recently became Champion Club members. I had lunch with Tim Johnson, the new incoming AD today and i am extremely excited and encouraged about the direction of ORU basketball! Tim shared with me how much the Green family gives to ORU which we all agree has been amazing! In order to cover additional expenses it takes the generosity of donors like many of you. I asked Tim what i could do to help him and he said helping him add more Champion Members would be huge for the program. If any of you want to learn more about the Champions Program I would love to talk with you. My name is George Lewis and my phone number is 918-809-8590.

  4. 6'-11" 2022 prospect Ben Middlebrooks has reclassified for 2021 and signed with Clemson, where his sister plays tennis. He had additional offers from the likes of Florida, Notre Dame, Maryland, Auburn, Virginia Tech, and Iowa State. Why does this matter? Because in this article, he lists his top five finalists before signing: Clemson, Dayton, Georgia, Ole Miss....and Oral Roberts: I can't get over the level of talent this coaching staff is offering right now. And, even if they don't choose ORU, it stands to reason that so many of them including ORU in their list of finalists can't be a bad thing.

  5. I can’t get her tweets: she blocked me years ago after I teased her re: how much she tweets about her shoes.
