Either of these two non-D1 schools joining the Summit League (and saving the baseball bid without a hiccup) would require a plethora of NCAA exemptions. It's a fascinating (and frankly scary) situation if both schools - and their respective sugar-daddy donors - are putting pressure on Tom Douple and the league office to accept them for the potential financial benefits in the long run, if doing so possibly hurts the league competitively in the short run.
