For everyone who was looking at Milton as some sort of savior for next season, I tried to tell you he wasn't that good back in October before he got hurt. Now everyone's wants to hang their hat on Abmas, a true freshman who put up big numbers at a small private high school, but seems to have commitment issues. Which begs the question: is he Johnathan Bluitt, or Beloved Rogers? Tim Gill, or Hunter McClntock? Just not a fan of these guys who seem to have one toe in the water, trying to decide. "PICK A LANE, BRO - PICK A LANE".

ORU is victorious in the series opener over NDSU, 9-3 coming from 3-1 down early in the game.....Josh McMinn gets victory and Trey Wolf cleans up with 2 2/3 innings of scoreless relief.....Blake Hall with a 3 hit night and Trevor McCutchin with 2 hits and 2 RBI....the Good Guys are back at it on Saturday afternoon vs. the Bison.....ORU now 12-11(5-2)….

Abmas played his high school career in Texas 6A so it's not like he was playing at Holland Hall or something.

Just a reminder for those of you who are down on the ORU baseball program.....this is from the ORU game notes: NOT SHYING AWAY: ORU put together one of its most difficult schedules to date for 2019. The Golden Eagles face seven teams that advanced to a NCAA Regional a season ago accounting for nearly a third of its 56-game slate. Five of ORU's first eight opponents advanced to the postseason in 2018 providing an early test......hummmm....combine this with the fact that this 2019 squad is very young and inexperienced....so TheEagleman is willing to give the Good Guys another few weeks before coming to any conclusions......remember....it's still March......
