  1. I was giving it to the refs and the WIU players all night and loved every minute of it!

  2. Here's what I suggested back on December 24th, in the post titled "Entering Conference Play": "...ORU has a decent chance to win their conference home games against the lower half of the league. But otherwise, I don't like their chances in ANY road game, or when the Dakota schools and IPFW visit (UND being the exception). Throw in an outlier or two along the way, and you're looking at a 5-11 conference record and a 7th or 8th place finish..." To ORU's credit, they've already won an impressive "outlier" by defeating Omaha on the road, and they were dominant at home this week. But, other than when Denver (and possibly Omaha) come to town, I still don't see them being a favorite in ANY regular-season games the rest of the way (which doesn't mean they can't/won't win any of them, especially if the front court guys keep playing the way they have lately).

  3. Yes....absolutely a total team win as all 11 players who entered the game scored.....six guys with 8 or more points and ORU outrebounds WIU 44-27 which shows the aggression of the Good Guys tonight....obviously the next couple road games will be huge tests for this young team....not sure ORU can win either one at Fort Wayne or Brookings but hopefully we can make it interesting....GO BLUE!!!....
