The 2018 tournament for the automatic NCAA bid gets underway on Wednesday afternoon at JLJ with NDSU vs. WIU and then SDSU vs. ORU in the evening. While our guys are the heavy favorite as usual....TheEagleman doesn't think that it's as automatic as in the past that ORU sweeps in 3 games.....ORU pitching looks pretty solid but our bats have been inconsistent and no sure thing that we can score a lot of runs this year.....as always, winning the first two games in this format is huge and means that somebody has to beat ORU twice in a row in the finals to advance....let's see how it goes but hopefully by Saturday we will be looking forward to the NCAA Selection Show on Memorial Day....
