I enjoy it even more when we OPEN UP A CAN OF WHOOP ASS on the likes of WSU and (Southwest) Missouri State. Which reminds me that, even though the loss still stings, it's pretty cool that our little ol' underfunded basketball program gave OU all they wanted Wednesday night, considering Sooners head coach Lon Kruger's salary is somewhere in the neighborhood of OUR ENTIRE ANNUAL BUDGET for men's basketball.2 points

MO State was never a "Sweet 16 team" as much as it was a "team that made a run to the Sweet 16"...Once. 13 years ago. And never before that. All the things said about Tulsa are usually what I hear the rest of the world saying about Springfield and Wichita. They need to just build a shrine to Steve Alford and get it over with. Other than that, I enjoyed kicking the crap out of them for the 2nd straight year.1 point

ORU is not "weird and preachy", we did not "give" you Barry Hinson, and Tulsa is not 10-15 years behind Wichita and Springfield. Thanks a lot for the back-handed compliments. Being in the MVC would be awesome but it would require more $ than we are willing to spend right now to field additional sports. Down the road it is a great goal to shoot for.1 point

Maybe they should bring back Barry Hinson! If we can do that to Missouri State, surely we can beat Southwest Texas (sorry, Texas State now) at home. I'll be there Wednesday to bring home the W.1 point
