  1. I make it a point never to call in to question the judgment of our coach - he knows a lot more about the game and his philosophy pertaining to it than I do. But in this case I'll make a brief exception, and say I agree with you, VCB. The question is, why has it taken so long for him to recognize these things?

  2. First, let me say that I am enjoying reading this thread & BasPlyr's perspective on TU hoops. I hope you stick around to post more, Bas. Secondly, I'm not even sure it would even take a 'high caliber' or 'proven head coach' like Kruger to turn TU's situation around. With the players that they have, Tom Hankins could go over there tomorrow and have them playing much better than they are now. And that's no knock on Tom. That's just saying a good coach that understands how to make adjustments can be extremely successful with good talent even without head coaching experience. Wojcik seems like he can get good athletes, but is unable or unwilling to make the adjustments needed to win. 2 of the most amazing things that I believe have helped ORU win some closer games this month of December were Scott Sutton being willing to start calling a timeout to stop an opposing team's run, and his willingness to play zone when we were constantly getting beat off the dribble.
