" A disappointing 14-17 record, even with the nation's seventh leading scorer, left a promising season unfulfilled for ORU."

That means they were 6-15 after that 8-2 start. Confounding.  No wonder Im so bitter about this season.

AMEN TO THAT!!!....at 8-2 TheEagleman was looking forward to a very exciting Summit League season....then we just went down the tubes....still hard to figure out....

Has there ever been a season when we performed so poorly in league after starting that well in the non-conference?

Not even close.

ORU had never finished lower than 6th place in conference play before last year, regardless of how they played in the non-conference season, and MANY times finished in the upper division of conference play following a sub-.500 non-con slate.
