Old Titan
Stunned to learn this afternoon that Denver has fired head coach Joe Scott after nine years. Scott had a record of 146-132, but more impressive to me was his ex-military discipline and how hard his team's played. Still, it's all about W's, and Denver has (at least on paper) underachieved from recent preseason prognostications after making a splash in their first year in the conference. More proof that the Summit League is trying to move up to the big boys: mediocrity is not considered good enough?
Dr. Cornelius
Different story if they make those free throws.
