EagleManiac
Obi is now behind 40-60. Looks like we've met some stiff competition. Gonna need all the votes we can get!
theeagleman5
Obi is up 59% - 41% this morning but still a loooooong way to go in this contest......those guys from NJIT in Newark, NJ are sure to cast a lot of votes for their man this week....NJIT was still playing ball until a few nights ago when they lost in the CIT to Columbia......how sad is it when NJIT and Columbia are playing post season ball and ORU is not......something is wrong with that.....hopefully, Coach Sutton and company will turn things around in 2016-17.......IN SUTTON WE TRUST!!!..... TrueBlue82
Here's College Court Report's summary of the Elite Eight battle: Obi Emegano – Oral Roberts (60.3%) def. Austin McBroom – Eastern Washington (39.7%) In the Sweet 16, it looked as though Eastern Washington’s Austin McBroom emerged as a front-runner for the title of CCR Mid-Major Player of the Year. The transfer from Saint Louis put together a stellar season for the Eagles, and looked to translate that into more post-season accolades. Unfortunately, he ran into an unstoppable force known as Oral Roberts, and the run came to a screeching halt. Fans have been steadily voting for Obi Emegano all contest long, and the Elite Eight was no different. He fell behind early in the week, but came on strong in the second half to cruise past McBroom and into the Final Four. Oh, the power of ORUsports.com...."unstoppable force"!!! ORUalum
Obi now down. NJIT has kicked it in......was able to vote battle for about 20-30 min, but was still losing ground. they must have 2 or 3 people voting currently.

EagleManiac
Got myself blocked for voting too fast. Woops. They've worked it down to about 50/50. Either they have had someone slowly voting all day, or they're running something that gets easy votes without being detected. My guess is the latter since there is plenty of information about how to do it online.
theeagleman5
Time to get going, friends....Obi has fallen behind 53-47%.....
ORUalum
Obi had a good run......the NJIT nerds will not be denied. i agree w/maniac they have to be running some type of program that is constantly voting. i've tried early morning, afternoon, late in the evening; there is always someone voting for the NJIT guy. EagleManiac
Was up at 2 last night and it was still voting. Can't beat a robot. There's plenty of info online about how to do it if any of you IT guys wants to figure it out!
TrueBlue82
Final four is a significant accomplishment. Well done, Obi (and orusports.com team!)
theeagleman5
Well...whatever NJIT did....we couldn't overcome it....the website said that over 31,000 votes were cast in this contest and Obi lost 55%-45%.....sounds like the ND kid will have no shot in the finals...surely these NJIT geeks will pull the same thing again this week...... Old Titan
Nice work, everyone - pretty impressive that we got Obi all the way to the Final Four, especially considering the size of our fan base. I mean, considering the time of year, it beats the hell out of another haiku contest.
