Well....all good things must come to an end....and this up and down season unfortunately will end on a downer tonight....ORU just doesn't have the horses to play with a more well rounded and rested Bison squad....we were fortunate to beat IUPUI last night in a game that went down to the final seconds....TheEagleman expects that our guys will play hard but likely come up a bit short and the Bison pull away at the end...Obi will need to have a monster game for us to win....and I am just not seeing it.........NDSU 77 ORU 68......... :|

NDSU is only a 3 point favorite as of this time....wow...I honestly expected the Bison to be favored by at least 6.....Vegas giving ORU a bit too much respect in TheEaglemans' humble opinion....I will be tempted to wager a few $$$ against the Good Guys tonight...or then again maybe Vegas knows something we don't????.... :nerd:

Tonight's game will be all about tempo:  ORU can't get into a track meet; their rebounding woes won't allow it, and not after Obi played every minute against IUPUI, reportedly while dealing with a bad back.

Need to make it a grinder to keep it close, do a better job of taking care of the ball on offense, and keep the rebounding numbers somewhat equal.

Otherwise, could be a long night.

Oh, you of little faith   Our slogan is "Expect a Miracle" therefore I am planning on NDSU being over confident and the Eagles having a major adrenaline surge combined with some great coaching!  GO EAGLES!

Will the game be on ESPN or will it be ESPN3?

If Bobby Word can catch fire and get some help from AY or one of the other Eagles, and if they play defense like they did in their last meeting with NDSU...you just never know how it might turn out. Pray hard and play harder!  :talk:

Is this the same NDSU team that we trounced at the Mabee Center about 2 weeks ago?

Not saying we'll win, but not sure where all the gloom and doom is coming from?

I'm with you, Voice. I appreciated the effort from the team last night, and I'm hoping it will carry into tonight. And although the Bizon are talented, they definitely are NOT last year's NCAA team - and they have to have some level of self-doubt less than two weeks after the Mabee Center thumping.

I'm really hoping some overzealous cameraman tries to give the Bizon timeout huddle some national coverage tonight. You just can't get enough "index card" advertising! ðŸ˜

agree with Eagleman that NDSU should be a larger favorite.....maybe 8 or 10 pts.

-Obi's back has me concerned

-NDSU with a days rest

-I look for Alexander to bounce back with a big game after getting shut down in Tulsa

-Jacobson is a future Summit POY

uphill battle for ORU tonight.....#ExpectAMiracle

Where did the news about Obi's back come from? Is that why he had such a challenging game last night? If Obi really is hurt I don't give us much of a chance. I just hope we keep it respectable.

:eagles:For followers outside of Tulsa, it looks to me like the only option to hear Geoff Haxton is tunein.com/radio/The-Sports-Animal-971-s34088  Good luck  & Go Eagles!

apparently Alexander can take as many steps as he wants.  throw in a phantom travel on Obi and Sutton is losing it on the sidelines.

Really questionable officiating so far. While I haven't had a gripe with Summit refs this season, I thought last night's crew was substandard, and tonight is worse.

if albert owens learns nothing else this off season, it better be -- kick out and re-post.  once he gets it he is going up with it no matter what.

It's good for the conference if only the Dakota schools make it to the championship game. Hope our guys can ignore them & play even harder.

The girls were fouled making a 3 point shot at the half time buzzer this afternoon, but the officials didn't call it.  I think it got in their heads when they came back onto the floor & they didn't get past it.

i still say Coach Sutton got about all he could out of this bunch.

Korey hopefully has apologized to his teammates. At 18-14 does anyone think we get a look at a lesser Tourney?
